webCOMAND 2.65 Released

COMAND Systems released webCOMAND 2.65 today.

Enhancements

  • CSV IDs and Identifiers can now be assigned to a field inside a #ADD or #EDIT to more easily create content references in COMAND Script.
  • System Log now includes in-progress system tasks to help monitor and debug in-progress and terminated tasks.
  • Alert when an update has been running longer than the maximum number of minutes configured in setup.pm (default 4 hours).  All processes that take longer than a couple of minutes are now forked as background processes, so an update should not typically run for longer than a few minutes maximum.
  • System status page provided for server monitoring integration (update.cgi?action=status)
  • Folders are no longer displayed in the folder tree if no content or sub-folders with content exist, or the user is not authorized to see them.  If a user has Admin authorization to any content type within a folder, the folder will be displayed, even with no sub-content.

Fixes

  • Unique fields are now properly checked upon submit.  This issue was introduced in a recent update.
  • Correct CSS now referenced for error pages and other informational web pages.
  • Memory checks now take Linux cache into account when determining amount of used and free memory, since memory allocated to cache is available for allocation, so it is now considered free.  This works with old reporting and the new CentOS 6 reporting.
